Welcome to SOAR, the Society of Active Retirees. SOAR is a community-based initiative of Wayne State University (WSU). The mission of SOAR is to offer a series of non-credit courses and programs and provide social enrichment/personal growth opportunities for adults. Affiliated with the Elderhostel Institute Network (EIN), SOAR offers courses and lectures covering a wide range of topics, many taught by volunteer WSU faculty.
