Distance Learning
Educational Outreach works with other university schools and colleges in maintaining and operating the delivery of live, interactive, and pre-produced distance learning courses for Wayne State University.
Interactive Video Classrooms
Interactive video allows for the flexible transmission and receipt of course materials, lectures and assignments. Courses are broadcast from Wayne State University’s main campus and interactive video classrooms at the Oakland Center (Farmington Hills)and University Center-Macomb (Clinton Twp.) connect professors and students via live two-way audio, video and data lines.
Telecourses
Telecourses are a convenient and economical alternative for you to earn college credit when you cannot (or prefer not to) attend classes on a weekly basis. Television courses combine televised or videotaped lessons with bi-weekly class meetings, textbook readings, and assignments to provide students with a total learning experience.
